I  was born on a Thursday in a town of high up in the mountainous spine of the small island of Puerto Rico. Raised in Coamo, a lovely valley town on the south-central side of the island, I spent my childhood days sometimes literally running around barefoot picking mangoes and guavas from the trees. Oh, it was no idyllic life (not even close), but it was a far cry from the tumultous streets of New York, where we migrated (my mother my brother and my sister and I) when I was twelve.

Many things have happened since those days, spanning the ecstatic and the painful, the astounding and the trivial, all adding up to eventually form and inform the person that I am today, which is, in short, the starving artist that my mother feared I would eventually become.

Primary school was entirely in Spanish. High School in the Bronx. College was in a small engineering school in a remote South Dakota town. Now the Arizona desert has been my home for a little over a decade, where I support myself as a musician, artist, luthier, web designer, translator, hustler, or by any number of freelance means in order to skin that particular cat.

Click on the links below for fotos, sounds, and other goodies. Stand by while I keep building this thing. Peace.
